Capitals party with the Stanley Cup in Arlington
ARLINGTON, Va. (ABC7) —
The Caps are back home in DC with the Stanley Cup. And Friday night, they were partying with the trophy at Don Tito in Arlington.
Tom Wilson was one of the first players to show up. He's also the one who got the honor of picking the Stanley Cup out of its case and hoisting it in the air as a crowd of Caps fans gathered in Arlington, cheered and snapped pictures.
T.J. Oshie and Matt Niskanen were actually the first to arrive, though time it appears they didn't take Metro, instead arriving in a car and getting dropped off outside the bar.
Fans ABC7 spoke with said they heard through social media that the team was here and said they had to come see it for themselves.
