Md. man accused of intentionally striking 7-Eleven clerk with car in hit-and-run incident

    A man was arrested after he intentionally struck a 7-Eleven clerk with his car outside of the store in a hit and run incident early Wednesday morning in Pasadena, Maryland.

    Ryan Lamar Jenkins was arrested for the alleged incident. Police say the store clerk suffered a broken arm and was taken to a Shock Trauma unit.

    Police say Jenkins and the clerk were in an argument and he became "disorderly" over the cost of cigarettes. According to authorities, Jenkins allegedly drove his car on the sidewalk and hit the 7-Eleven clerk outside of the store.

    Investigators say the clerk was attempting to obtain Jenkins' license plate number prior to the collision.

    The incident occurred at 8930 Fort Smallwood Road.
