HYATTSVILLE, Md. — You can say Sam Caldwell has a “whatever it takes” attitude, at least when it comes to his players. One example is New Hope Academy's Jennifer Ezeh, a 6’4 sensation from Nigeria ranked 4th in the country at her position. After only playing ball for two years she's headed to Duke in 2019.
But that wouldn’t have been possible if weren’t for Caldwell. He became Ezeh's legal guardian here in the states, allowing here to realize her dream of becoming a Blue Devil. And it's something that's transformed into a real father daughter relationship.
