Ryan Zimmerman and Max Scherzer wore full Caps gear while leading ‘Let’s Go Caps’ chant

Two of D.C.’s biggest sports stars were in the spotlight Monday night during the Capitals’ Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final, though neither saw any ice time.

But they did still don the jerseys and make their presences felt.

Nationals standouts Ryan Zimmerman and Max Scherzer, decked out in full Caps gear, led the “Let’s Go Caps” chant before the start of the game – a 6-2 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights.

Before Game 3 on Saturday, it was former Redskins coach Joe Gibbs led the chant.

But it wasn’t the best of nights for all Nationals players, who didn’t have a game Monday. Bryce Harper, the face of the franchise and Las Vegas native, was also at the game albeit in a Golden Knights jersey to support his hometown team.

The Capitals now lead the series 3-1.
